Tugu jogja in its history has another name Tugu Golong Gilig or Tugu Pal Putih. Tugu Jogja is not an ordinary monument, but a monument that has myth and meaning with a long history that accompanies it. So it becomes a special icon owned by the city of Yogyakarta. Tugu Jogja was built in 1755 by Prince Raden Mas Sujana or Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono first as a memorial of the unity of the king and the people against the Dutch at that time.
