Saint Peter and Paul Cathedral
This structure is maybe the most gone by vacation spot in all of Suriname as a result of its engineering plan, verifiable significance and its religious reason. There are numerous Saint Peter and Paul Cathedrals everywhere throughout the world yet this one in Paramaribo, Suriname was announced by Pope Francis in 2014 as a minor basilica.
It is the principle Roman Catholic Diocese of Paramaribo and it has been exceptionally all around safeguarded right up 'til the present time. The minor basilica is still in its unique wooden structure and it is the biggest Western wooden cathedral still in presence. It is a standout amongst the most lovely places to visit in Suriname.
