Ruins of Kyk-Over-Al
The Ruins of Kyk-Over-Al is also known as Fort Kyk-Over-Al. It used to be a fortification amid the Dutch colonization of Essequibo before they surrendered it to the British and made piece of Guyana. The name signifies "See over all" and that is the thing that the post backed in the day.
It was made in 1616 and has served the Dutch for over 200 years. The place wasn't safeguarded at all and today, just remainders of the once strong fortification remains.
