Lake Chivero
This lake is connected with Manyame River which the locals used to call Lake McIlwaine. The reservoir was established 2.5 years before it opened for public viewing in 1952.
It was made into a dam which later became a recreational national park named the Lake Chivero Recreational Park. The dam was 400 meters long, by the way. This Ramsar Wetland reservoir has a South Bank wherein animals like the Southern white rhino and the Burchell’s zebra.
