I cleared out a Mongol squad occupying a fisherman's house on the shore. After collecting supplies, I rode into Traders Forest and engaged a patrol holding a lady captive, brought down their eagle with a fire arrow before freeing the grateful peasant.

Continuing my journey through the village, I noticed a group of Mongols who had seized a fisherman's house along the shore. I could definitely ignore them but you know, I don't ignore them.

I initiated a standoff challenge against five enemies standing on the open sand. I began slicing through them one by one using standoff streak, and killed three of them with the standoff streak only.

When I was slaying the fourth Mongol, a Brute got terrified and tried to back away, but having unlocked the Moon Stance, I stepped in and eliminated him almost instantly.

Just when I thought the Brute was the final foe, another archer appeared further up the path. I charged toward him, executed a jump kick to break his guard, and cut him down with my katana.

A spearman stepped up next, proving to be the actual last survivor of the squad, and fell to my blade as well. Looking around the quiet property, I discovered the Mongols had brutally murdered the local fishermen and left their body hanging outside the cabin.

I went inside the house to gather useful supplies before resuming my ride.

Traveling deeper into Traders Forest, I encountered another Mongol patrol escorting a peasant lady in chains. I challenged them to a standoff, but I fell for a feint and swung too early, and lost the initial strike.

The remaining patrol members swarmed my position to capitalize on the mistake. I recovered my footing and engaged them in open melee, parrying incoming strikes and cutting them down one after another.

An attack eagle belonging to the patrol began circling overhead to disturb my movement. I drew my bow to shoot it down, but my regular arrows seemed completely ineffective against the bird.

Switching tactics, I notched a fire arrow and dropped the eagle out of the sky with a direct hit.

The last surviving Mongol archer kept firing arrows at me from a distance. I accidentally wasted my final fire arrow into the dirt, forcing me to close the gap on foot and finish him off with my sword.

With the area clear, I cut the ropes holding the captive lady, and she offered me a bundle of supplies as thanks for saving her life.
