My post today will be about a place I visit a lot for the last years.
I currently live in Sofia and this city is surrounded by mountains, rivers cross it, there are a huge lake and a water reservoir of one of the longest rivers in Bulgaria.
I am going to show you some photos of the Iskar river reservoir.
It is the largest reservoir in my country and is situated by Sofia. It is a place that many people prefer to visit during weekends and even practice water sports there. I usually go there to escape from the busy everyday life. I like having a coffee, reading a book and watch the calm water. The only annoying thing is that sometimes there are a lot of tourists and the place become noisy. But in such cases, I take my picnic blanket and go somewhere quieter.
