You can love a soul, not the physical being,
The emotion it provokes, the calm it radiates.
To love the feeling, without touching or kissing,
Only perceiving what chemistry expresses.
To love the light, the music, the word,
That which is sensed beyond the tangible.
The soul loves the eternal, imperishable,
The essence, the fragrance of the spirit.
To love expression without sound or form,
For it transcends time and distance.
