A book fair is a fair where a huge number of books are exhibited and sold. In Bangladesh book fairs are held usually in the month of February. Although book fairs are held in many towns in Bangladesh now, the most attractive and the largest book fair is organized in Dhaka on the Bangla Academy premises.
This book fair popularly known as Ekushey Boi Mela opens on the first February and continues till the end of February. It is exceptionally popular. Almost all the well known publishers of the country try to take part in this fair. They exhibit and advertise their published books and try to attract the readers to buy books. Almost all kinds of books are displayed in a book fair. But novels, poems, classic are book fair.
Everybody has a very positive feeling about this fair. A book fair plays a vital role to introduce us with the world of books. It spreads knowledge by encouraging and inspiring us to short stories, science fictions and children's sold more than other types of books. Nobody misses the opportunity of visiting a ead books more and more.
