📺 Locke & Key · S1E9 · "Echoes" · 75/100

To be honest, watching the characters' stupidity and some cheap shortcuts in the script definitely annoys you. But those buried secrets of the past and Ellie completely breaking down to spill the truth save the whole story from falling apart. The twist revealing the villain's real face hits with such a hard shock that you feel like ignoring the weak logic altogether. The show itself knows it has flaws, so instead of showing off deep philosophy, it focuses straight on chaos and dread. And this careless suspense was enough to keep me glued to the screen.
