This is what I do with raspi01:

So this is the first Raspberry Pi that I purchased in 2012 about 8 months after the release and I could actually source one. It is Raspberry Pi Model B Rev 2 made in china. All Raspberry Pi computers are now made in the UK now.

I run this RPi 24/7 and use it to monitor a wireless radio (the red board in photo) that receives radio packets from a couple wireless transmitters that sense temperatures in a couple rooms upstairs in the house and then broadcast some radio packets with that information.

Here is a screen shot of a terminal window running a python program that captures the radio broadcast and extracts a node id and temperature and the outputs a device name and temperature which will be entered into a database when I get around to updating the python program.
