In my previous blogs i shared lots about my Maharastra trip, still i have some more to share about this trip . This trip was like roller coaster ride for me 😄 after trimbakeshwar we went to Sula Vineyard.
The sula Vineyard is a well known winery, Asia's most visited Vineyard. If you are a wine lover sula Vineyard is a place for you :-)
How to reach there:
From trimbak distance is 24 km and it took 40 minutes to reach there, these 40 minutes passed like 4 minutes because the serene and beautiful way.
From Nashik distance is only 15 km and it took 30 minutes.
From Mumbai distance is 170 km and it took 4 hours.
From pune distance is 227 km and it took almost 5 hours.
We went there from trimbak and what we enjoy in the way let's see:
Here You can witnessed the wine grapes field all over. Which look so amazing. Whole road is covered with wine grape field both sides.
Entrance of sula Vineyard:
We reached there at the noon , when sun shines bright 😎 This is the entrance of sula, we can assume how beautiful it is from inside. I was so excited to go there.
First i captured the entrance pictures. Than we go to the ticket counter. There every visitors have to buy redeemable coupon . We buy that coupon worth 3000 INR. For tour and taste experience 600 INR for per person.
The vineyard is open for everyday from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm.
About sula Vineyard:
Sula is a winery located in nashik. It was founded by rajeev samant in 1999. Sula has grown to be India's largest wine brand. Sula is also known for to be the first commercial Vineyard located in Nashik. Sula was named after Rajeev samant's mother-name.
Once you are in the midst of the beautiful sula Vineyard , you will surely get mesmerized with it's beauty.
Before entering the building i captured these shots. Its all looks magical.
At the ground floor near the tasting room there is a amazing gift shop. I buy these chocolates from there.

After visiting gift shop we went to first floor. There is a restaurant on this floor, we can enjoy there wine, food and beautiful view. From first floor Vineyard looks like that :
After that the time for tour and tasting 😉 I waited for it so long. Actually i never tested red wine and for a long time i want to test it. That day i had the opportunity to taste 6 sula wines including red wine 🍷
Types of wine :
Sula makes many styles of wine- red, white and rose. Both still and sparking forms.
Tour and tasting:
When tour starts one guide come and explain all about wine and its making process. She explained the 2 types of grapes and how the make wine from grapes. She took in different rooms where wine is storage.
She also explained about tank maturing, barrel maturing and finally bottling of wines. They import the barrel and one barrel cost is almost 1 lakh INR but life is short. After that they resell them as a showpiece worth 20-30k INR.
After tour it's time for tasting. For that we wait for 5 minutes and than that guide tell us how to hold a wine glass and how to taste it.
She offer 6 types of wine including all red, white and rose. I like 3 types of wine , surprisingly more than red i like white wine taste. They also kept barrels as a showpiece in the tasting room .
The ambiance at sula was nice and it all a magical experience.
Sula Vineyard has everything that can make your trip memorable one . If you want to plan one day trip from your busy life , you can plan and enjoy your life fullest.
