In my previous blog we had a virtual trip of bangaluru palace. Today i would like to share about my visit to lalbagh botanical garden which is more than 250 years old garden.
Here you can seen many trees which are old than 100 years. How amazing it is to visit such a beautiful and historical place.you can find nature, Beauty, history and peace at one place.
Where is this botanical garden 🏡
Lal bagh botanical garden is situated in the middle of the city Bangalore , India . This is not a regular or ordinary garden , it's a magical place where you can see the best colour of nature.
How can we reach there ✅
You can reach there via taxi ,metro , city bus. Situated 37 km away from the airport. This is a famous landmark of banglore near the jayanagar area. There are 4 entry gate for this garden. South gate is near the metro station. We reached there via metro.
Timing and tickets ✨
The garden is open from 6 am to 7 pm all days of the week. There is 20rs per person entry fees for 12 years old visitors.
This is a heaven on the earth for the nature lovers. In every corner of the garden there are many old trees , flowers, wooden structure, art, history and stories to enjoy. This is a place filled with lush greenery and nice fragrance.
History of the garden 🏠
The garden is made by a king named hyder ali (formar king of mysore) in 18th century. After that his son tipu sultan made it more beautiful. Now it is managed and maintained by the directorate of horticulture , goverment of Karnataka.
This is a beautiful garden with lots of pathway , glass house and old , big trees.
The glass house :
This is the famous diamond shaped glass house which looks amazing at night. Even we visited there in the noon but i saw night picture on Google.
This garden host amazing flowers show on 15 August and 26 January twice in the year.
Famous wooden structure 😄
This garden have more than 1000 plant species and lots of old tree. You can see all types of plant here. Some of them might be you see firsr time.
There are lot of new things for me to explore. I also like this tree so much.
Clock
I visited here in December. So there were not so many flowers to see. All year this garden changed it's look. In spring this garden is decorated with colourful flowers. In monsoon all garden become so green. Everything converts in lush green. In winters you can see the Beauty of nature with calm. You will feel so calm and fresh in the air, tree and all around.
You can easily spends 3-4 hours here. You can take a walk, capture the nature's beauty and many things you can learn here about nature and plants.
The flowers and nature Beauty brightn the mood and you forget all worries. It you want to take a break from your busy life this is a best place to visit.
In my life it was my first experience when i saw such big and old trees, all wooden structure and glasshouse, the serene ambiance all were mind-blowing.
