Celebrated light love and togetherness: my deewali celebration 馃巼
Namaste and hello to all hive members!
I'm back after a short break and a sparkling deewali celebration. So how was you deewali celebration, i hope it was good. Mine was also good & bit different for me.
We Celebrated deewali in the same manner. Like everyyear there were sweets, decoration, rangoli , lights & diyas but i feel different this time. I feel so excited, emotional and overwhelmed this time. I found myself in the new phase. We cherished old memories & create new lasting memories.
I remember when we were little, dad used to decorate the home with lights and garlands. Mom used to make sweets and different types of snacks of our choice. Get us new clothes and gifts.
In our childhood deewali was our most awaited festival for us.
But this time role has changed. Now me and my husband do all things as a parents. Even this was the second deewali celebration with my kid but last year he was so younger to understand and enjoy all things. But this year he is big enough to enjoy all things.
These are some pictures of our celebration.
It was so exciting to buy new clothes for him, cook for him and witnessing his joy and curiosity. I only wish that just like our parents made all festivals memorable for us we should also do the same for our children and pass down the all values to them.
In a nut shell It was really a beautiful and enriching experience.
