It has been some time, but this morning I have relaxed with an old friend - "Sweet Candy Forest..."
Before Steem, there have been a number of, I wouldn't call them addictions, but would call them 'attractive pastimes'. When I haven't been attending to the duties of being a mother and wife, I would sit down as I have played a number of different games on the mobile - Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga - the list goes on.
After attending to midnight or 2 AM duties for the Little Man, I could sit down on the couch on my own and play to my hearts content without disturbing the Other Half. No wonder I was tired of the daytime!
Not as bad as when I was pregnant! I was enticed by the Other Half to join the interactive game "Wartunes" and became totally addicted!
Ooh - now that was truly something else!! I had a lovely romantic character, who had set fights with other characters from around the world and made friends. I even had friends at work and in general who played and who would compare notes :)
I stopped when Little Man came. It required too much commitment that I just couldn't keep. That's when I switched to these easy little games that could stop in an instant when the summoning cry was put out. Still, they are addictive and end up taking away your time that could be spent on other things. Especially now they have adds worked into the games as your levels go up. That is how they get paid.
With Steemit, I like that I'm getting something back. There is a whole new area of investment that I didn't know before. In the process of discovery I get to write and review these Posts - which is something I enjoy. I'ld like to hear how you started on this journey - fill me in :)
