I think my new car has a "death wobble". I think the cause is tires that are statically balanced and not dynamically balanced.
It makes sense to me that statically balanced tires could cause a death wobble but it seems like a lot of car manufacturers and maybe even a motorcycle manufacturer or two has not figured that out.
