Is Ireland the only possibility or did you consider heading north or south of your current location? You are just a step away from some great places, that would be sparking my interest big time. You do know Ireland doesn't have a summer? lol

However, I understand that whatever you do, you sometimes need to take a step backward and build a base. I moved to London from Dublin and it didn't work out and I hop scotched it back to the emerald isle sharpish!
