Today, I want to talk about second generation kpop group and the group name is "Kara". Kara is the one of the popular groups of second generation kpop groups. Kara have currently active with five members, although they had various members changes within the group.
Kara was originally debuted in 2007 with strong female image. Unfortunately, their debut was a commercial failure. So, in 2008, the change their concept to pretty but natural concept. With this concept, Kara stated to gain popularity in south korea. From 2009 their popularity in korea become to increase more and more and they became one of the popular group in korea. Because of their popularity, they also tried to release albums in japan and they also found success in it.
In this group, there is one sad story. Although the group is now active again with remaining five members, the group was disbanded in 2016 and some members leaving the company. During the time, when the group was not active as a group and members tried their solo careers. Unfortunately, one of the members, goo hara died because of suicide at that time.
In korea, some young kpop boys and girls died because of suicide. Among them, hara is one sad story. During the hiatus of Kara group, she faced multiple traumatic events while pursuing her solo career.
From, 2024 to 2026 currently, the group has released songs and doing concerts continuously. Currently, the remaining active members in the group are gyuri, seungyeon, nicole, jiyoung and youngji.
