Throughout those years many things changed - name of the chain after forking off from steem the name has changed for Hive now but community is still the same - since then blockchain technology develop, and almost everyone know at least what BTC and cryptocurrency (well theoretically).
What usually was most amazing about community gather was definitely meeting people from all around the world fun activities, talks, presentation. I've had the privilege to film those events, and now after two years in VR which lets face it was interesting but it wasn't as much fun as meeting people in person. I hope to see old and new faces at the HiveFest in Amsterdam.
So if you hesitate and not sure if you wanna come then don't think - it's no brainer this Hivefest surely will be great.
