Hi hivers. In this post I want to describe my “recipe” in building up a spell potion for manifesting abundance and productivity.
A spell potion is a physical tangible object that is a memo of what you’re trying to either succeed and that can help you manifest the things you want in your life.
Now, before putting the bottle together we first need to do a mental preparation, in which you need to find a quiet place, away from phone and pc, and try to empty your mind. Then write down 2 or 3 positive phrases that come to mind when you think of what you want to manifest or your deepest wishes. My phrases sound like this:
-I’m energy, I’m aligned with my path.
-I’ll become the best version of myself.
You can write anything, on whatever domain, be it love, money, peace etc.
Now that we have a clear image of things you want to bring into your life, I’ll go over the things you need. First we need a container of any kind and our herbs. I got these beautiful bottles from previous acquisition of some rose water. And I made my bottle personalized, with paper clay and mixed-media, combining both dried flowers and old magazines.
This way it uses my energy and brings in the energy of the animal that I chose as totem, which is the fox. A fox symbolizes sharpness, awareness, quick decision making, intelligence and resourcefulness.
As for herbs I chose chamomile for its soothing effects, for better envisioning my purpose, dried “Daucus carota” flowers known for its popular name bird's nest, which has been used for centuries in herbalism and in magic it is known for helping with letting go of 'old things' that is blocking the flow, so it can be regarded as a spiritual decongestant. Green tea leaves, which has many health benefits, such as detoxifying and boosting immunity and stamina. And salt used for protection, purification and healing.
Now that you have all the ingredients you want, you basically just need to layer them in a way that it feels natural to you. There is no particular order, just use your intuition. And as you’re adding the herbs, repeat in your mind the positive effects of each, as to “seal” its properties inside. Then roll the piece of paper with your intentions and add it in there. And that’s all you need. I also like to add 3 drops of my favorite oils: rosemary, lavender and almond.
And why 3? In magic, this number is considered to be the perfect number, the number of harmony, wisdom and understanding.
And I like to sprinkle some in the room that I usually work in, whenever I feel like I could use a “boost.”
