Basic income should be real. If not monetarily, then in food, water, housing and safety. Everyone deserves to live a proper, normal life. To be able to eat, drink, and not freeze to death.
You're obviously telling the truth here. However, i'd ask you to consider a few things when you think about basic income far beyond that. For example.. why is that everytime people think about basic income or now the term i prefer the citizen's dividend. Not just picking on you as most people do this because they aren't educated on the topic.
I've spent the last several years studying ubi, basic income, guaranteed income whatever. My issue is you all think this is a charity case situation. You all only think in terms of this is welfare for needy people. however let me open you guys up to something @taskmaster4450
i like to pick on taskmaster because it's many things as well i don't think he understands about the topic. So first of all the numbers are something like 40% of americans can't afford a $400 emergency okay https://www.minneapolisfed.org/article/2021/what-a-400-dollar-emergency-expense-tells-us-about-the-economy
That's nearly half the population. Now you wouldn't consider half of america as needy people. however if $400 will knock you off your axis.. You are pretty much a needy person in that idea. Now i don't think it's that they are needy. I think it's that the system is broken. Needy to me sounds like a crippling idea in itself and i simply don't think it's true. So basic income in the terms i discuss is not about needy people. It's about an inefficient economy created by a large degree of ignorance. Lack of sophistication in our economy. That the future will change either by choice or force. I'd prefer the choice but we're moving into the force.
People like taskmaster spends alot of time on Leo writing blogs. Nothing wrong with that. Leo fashioned itself into a half decent small business. Do i think it's trivial to creating a system and solving a major problem in the world using blockchain tech. yes i do.. it only proves we can create small businesses on the chain we may or may not need. it is without a doubt trivial to projects like bbd and bitcoin myk and as long as we as a community can't use logical reasoning to figure that out.. we're going to persist with issues like this. We can bring horses to water but we can't make them drink.
Now as a people in the world we will figure this out. We will solve this issue. However does it really take so much willfull ignorance to solve an obvious problem?
