I'm actually very hopeful about the metaverse. I've predicted over a decade ago. We'll start to value a virtual goods economy over our standard economy. As our corporatist economy is very wasteful and i think it's actually barbaric and backwards. The people involved in it are not civilized or smart or intelligent.

So metaverse will create an economy where that doesn't matter. Similar to like that ready player one game where the corporations gold mine and the other idiots were trying to control the resources of the metaverse. This will allow ideas like basic income and the citizen's dividend to flourish. As now instead of these idiots wasting billions to drive yachts the size of a football stadium only used by 7 people. We can instead spread those resources throughout the metaverse. Similar to what happens in Phillip K. Dick's novel, or total recall.. People stop taking real vacations and use artificial memories and projections and ideas to experience vacations they never been on. i think that one day can be done by the metaverse and we're at the primitive stages but i do believe these dummy right wingers, not all of them because i'm actually a conservative but the idiot ones who think capitalism works.. They will no longer think that way and we'll be much better as a society.
