I understand where you coming from but i don't like this narrative. I don't like the idea that people can use crypto to quit their jobs. That's nowhere near reality for the bulk of people. Now it would be nice if that were the case. however if that were the case you'd see more systems like bitcoinmyk.com
What i'm really getting from narratives like yours and cryptocurrency in general is the same situation we have in bitcoin. So the stats are like 87% of the entire bitcoin network is owned by 1%.
so what that means is that the people who fit that category in all of crypto more than likely fall into that 1% group. Which i believe like 99% of the crypto space doesn't share this set of circumstances. Now unfortunately if we try to use another cryptocurrency project with less value in it and less usership.
Then the numbers typically get even worse and the idea of people achieving financial freedom from crypto gets even worse. So my point is this. if we're in crypto seriously trying to create such a situation our projects would look a great deal different than they do.
They look exactly like our standard economy but 10x worse. if we were to switch the populace to the same stats that we have in cryptocurrency now. From an economic standpoint 99% of the population would starve to death.
i can not in good conscious sign on to something like that. Now if you're doing well i'm happy for you. Unfortunately you are the exception and not the rule. Most people aren't like you and won't be like you. So if crypto is serious the sentiment would move ever closer to projects like bitcoin myk that are concerned abouth not only economic disparities and objective is to help to fix that as well as deal with a future of automation and catastrophic job displacement.
Not only would the space move greatly in those directions but the market sentiment would signal these things. So instead we get these needle in a haystack examples where a marky mark figure managed to become financially independent.. 1 out of 100 million..lightening strike statistics instead of just inventing systems like we've done to deal with the root of the problem... So yea.....
