Yes as far as passing on inheritance you also have irrevocable trusts that can restrict and force the retention of assets. However you may disagree with this a bit. The way i see it is i subscribe more to models like Warren Buffet and Andrew Carnegie. They were both the richest men in history and both gave or will over 90% of their fortunes back to society.
The reason in reality is Warren Buffet doesn't believe any of his children earned any of that money and they didn't. So some would say well in capitalism we can give any of our money to anybody we want. Which isn't exactly true. Obviously you gotta pay taxes and it's conditions on how much you can give and how you can give etc., I take the overall message of capitalism is some version of fairness and you get what you put out.
So it's all at it's core about fairness. The problem with our version of capitalism is that we have loopholes of taxes.. market manipulation.. exploitation of workers to the point they really are slaves with no choices because they forced to work for you it's not that they really have a choice like people think. The system puts them under the gun to the point they can never rise up start their own business like they say they can but in reality that's just ridiculous to believe.
So without some sort of balance the very idea in it's paradigmn of the fairness of our version of capitalism isn't really fair at all. So if it's not fair and that's what we're after. People want you to work for every dime you earn and produce something. Then it should follow that at every level in our capitalistic system that everyone is held accountable but in reality they aren't.
So that's why we push for failsafes and means to balance the system to make it fair. I believe one way to do that is with the citizens dividend. Not everyone believes that and that's fine but at the end of the day we still gotta find a way to solve this problem. Everyone not producing and benefiting from their fair share. So if we're making cases for what works and what is right we gotta include all of these things. It may not even be that the citizens dividend is the answer but i think the bottomline is we need to find something then beyond what we have.
So i agree with Warren Buffet that his kids did not earn any of the billions of dollars he created and through laws and maybe even certain manipulations and exploitations Warren Buffet took money from society he now rightful so is returning. That's my personal impression of it.
Now getting to @taskmaster4450 i get he invested money and he feels he's due a certain return okay whatever but can he tone down the rhetoric and the bullshit just a little bit he's gotta be the worse one of all these guys. IN some ways he even worse than marky mark.. Atleast
@themarkymark just tells you hey i'm with the bullshit and if hive doesn't make a freaking dollar it just doesn't i'm going to steal all your money anyway.
So marky mark atleast don't bullshit you. The people just dumb and give him their money. taskmaster guy someone told me hey check him out he may be interested in ubi the citizens dividend.. then he did all these bullshit videos on ubi..i don't think ubi should be tested on the government level yet. i think it should be tested in crypto but he's just in my opinion disingenious and more dangerous than marky mark because everyone knows marky mark is an asshole he's always going to have a limited number of people follow him but taskmaster is dangerous and i call him out on his bullshit.
