So when i worked on wallstreet and sold securities we had something called the 50/50 rule.. This was actually subject to regulation. How it works is if i promoted and pushed you a legal security.. although it was legal i was still under regulatory bodies to never promote the possibility or success of this thing out of balance of relaying to you the project could fail.
So even if in crypto these were legal securities which they aren't. Hive is likely an unregistered security and everyone with the exception of bitcoin. Now some would say well ethereum is not an unregistered security. Well it use to be and it never paid any fines or had any discplinary actions taking against it which i think was ridiculous.
I don't count ethereum because the now head of the SEC gave sufficient evidence i believe why it was in fact an unregistered security and should be treated as such and i don't wanna hear from the people who say well we don't need the government doing regulation.
Look those are the very same people who wanna take these projects to court when they lose their money. Why not take it in stride if the argument is we don't want government intervention. That means you are an adult and you'll take every monetary loss but do they wish to do that? Absolutely not and are quite vocal about prosecuting folks like this Do Kwon guy many wanna see him in a prison now.
So the problem with you hivians is when they go out and promote hive. How often do you hear them say you know what your hive investment is probably likely an unregistered security that's probably at some point or will lose 90% of it's value. How often do these marky mark's and taskmasters as it were have post about that?
See your post if you were promoting this unregistered security that let's just say it was a legal security. Then your post would be determined by regulatory bodies to somewhat spread a balanced point of view. If the SEC finds you're only goign this project will go to the moon"
You will not be risking your money or much money because of curation and delegation and all that bullshit then some guy puts in a million bucks and it goes to 100k or 50k which has happened then you're in violation of securities laws. You probably subject for jail time.
So you hivians do this all the time. Now some would say well Mykos you're full of shit too. Don't you promote your own shitcoin. Well those people i highly doubt understand how the howey test works. if they did they'd certainly feel more safer in my shitcoin if they going to be in any coin because i atleast know what violates the howey test. Which is why i know you all do that in this platform.
So i should be seeing half the hive posts talking about hive problems and failures and all i see is pie in the sky posts from people at the top of this pyramid making money. Trying to protect their golden goose.
The problem is it doesn't work that way. You don't get to just tell me i'm making the best choice on hive with little to no consequences. In fact those consequences should be on par and balanced with all this hope and $100 hive predictions etc., The level of ignorance around here is just too high.
now concerning how people feel about scamming people and abusing people and ripping them off people like @themarkymark
who can you believe sold some ignorant fellow a jpeg for $24k
So basically a pyramid scheme disaster is what it is lol. There is no ethics in crypto in the minds of these people. So to feel bad you gotta first be a human being. Animals don't think that way which is why i wrote an article earlier this week about the less evolved crowd in crypto lol
That's not the insult. The insult comes from these people coming in and demeaning us by robbing us of our value and looking at us like we stupid. that's the insult and they don't care because they aren't ethical people.
