I think the idea of this being called the " the age of abundance" is a bit of a misnomer. What i mean by that i'm not against the idea, however i just think its an idea that always existed. That we've always been in an age of abundance. I say that because i just feel like we've always had more on the earth than we ever needed.

I view the nft market and the defi market as mostly extreme bubbles. However if someone wants to trade physical commodities for digitized dimensionless commodities then if that makes them happy i got no problem with that. Does it just feel absolutely like a type of tulip mania. Sure it does as i just think its easier ways to manage resources.

So my point is none of this was every really necessary. I'm fine that we're moving closer to a world that allows for more fair competitive situations. No matter how ridiculous. I guess at the end of the day if we arrive at our destination i won't spend alot of time talking about the how.

We're here now. However let's just keep in mind. It's politics that's responsible for the mismanagement and improper stewardship of the world's resources. That's why some believe a resource based economy would be more idea. So i think we've always had an age of abundance still do. Even now its enough resources on the planet to easily feed over 10 billion people and it's not 10 billion people here.

So its always been political constructs that have forcibly kept people from things they need. So i just want to draw the lines of no its not really production adn overproduction of plastics and metals that's necessary to change and help the world. Just remember until we address this at a political level they can make these resources cost almost pretty much what they wish because when they get tired of competition or don't want it believe you me they'll still figure out ways to change and control those markets and prices.

IN crypto well what's happening now? Cryptocurrencies are more owned now by governments and corporations that you probably won't feel thats a free commerce system in the future when they raise prices adn dump them and control those markets.

So the concept of the age of abundance i think is just a thin layer of saying sure a few more people will get in the game but not much. Atleat thats how its playing out in crypto so far. Crypto isn't really changing the face of the globe or the economics in any significant identifiable way at this time.
