yea i hate to sound like a debbie downer.. i don't think project blank is going to make things better. i think with the blogging and posting you have a smaller theatre of people with a limited skillset as to say it's not many great article writers.. so it's a resource of value because it's scarce.

To go from that to where anyone can do short twitter like post.. not only have we already had that in several incarnations..it's proven it's not the solution. the only solution is freemium services .. twitter basically came in heavily funded and offered their services free and provided adequate marketing.. so i don't think project blank is what's holding up progress or success i think the deeply rooted issue is understanding that social media has to be free and until it's free it's not going to work
