I knew of the 2 boys from the news, they searched for them and when they thought too much time had gone by and there was no way to find them alive they called off the search, and weeks later their boat was found over 200 miles away, somewhere off of Georgia, it was in the Gulf Stream which the tide runs north. They never found the boys. On the news, the Coast Guard official said that the Gulf Stream is a very unfriendly environment. By this he meant very large sharks live there. I could not believe he said this because it is not something that the family needed to hear, but my husband and I knew that was probably what happened. All I can hope is that they were already gone by the time the sharks found them if that is what happened. With a storm like that, I do not think that anyone could survive out there.
