Drove to the West Coast of Vancouver island and launched some kayaks at Ucuelet harbour, and paddled a few hours over to Vargas Island for a Summer Solstice kayak / camping trip in June 2016. A truly wild and rugged West Coast experience. Orcas, Eagles, Seals, Wolves, Salmon. Gorgeous environment. A Northern Paradise.
