Throwback photos.
This photo was taken five years ago when we are in Port Pirie, South Australia. This is a farewell party because we are going home in the Philippines. This was my very first ship to board as a cadet and they were my shipmates. I am very lucky with them because they are all kind, They teach what they know about the work on the ship. Five years ago, time went by very fast. My former Chief Engineer retired, my 1st Engineer had three contracts as Chief Engineer, and the same with my 2nd Engineer and 3rd Engineer who were with me then, all of them were promoted, including me. I already had two contracts as an Oiler. Until this day, I still don't forget what they taught me and I also teach it to my companions who are new to the ship.
