Funny enough, we can't all be content creators, celebrities and definitely cannot be all rich and famous.

This is not because it's impossible (even though it is) but because we can't all do the same thing and be successful with it.

Nevertheless, I believe that if I do what the successful people are doing, then I can also have a taste of success and, hopefully, that would motivate me to find my own way.

Find Your Way

Replicating other people's success is soothing and easy from the start, but this only brings success and not fulfillment because it is not something you have a roadmap nor passion for in the first place.

Nonetheless, imitating is the first stage on the road to success, but in order to take success and keep it for long, you need to stay grounded by immersing your whole self into the craft like a tree growing its roots so it can stand tall and strong whenever heavy wind blows.

Trying to become a follower all our life is like trying to grow only the fruit without focusing on building a strong root. It's not a fruit you eat, but it's what helps keep your tree strong in times of trials and ensure it keeps bringing out good fruit for a long time. But if you don't keep the root strong by immersing yourself into the craft and growing it your own way, when the wind blows, you are liable to get blown away.

Never Give Up

Yesterday I had a conversation with a friend pf mine who had given up on creating content on Hive. He's an author here on Hive before, but due to how he sees Hive as a platform, he called it quit.

In his pwn words, Hive is too strict and needing to create content daily is too much to handle. This was his remarks and what made him give up, but to me, this wasn’t why he's giving up.

I later had to ask him to try to post whenever he feels like and have the energy that he doesn't have to post every day. But he said that won't amount to anything because for him to become successful as people like Taskmaster and some other prominent authors, he needs to post every day like they do.

Honestly, there is nothing wrong with posting every day. In fact, there are countless perks to posting every day that could make people want to curate your content. Some curators, like consistent authors, agreed.

However, that is not the rule, it is the exception. Just because Task could post every day does not mean you need to. And if need be, then you will need to find your own way pf posting daily. But I guess many people are only looking at the rewards pf these people without knowing how long they've been at it without giving up.

Adjust When Needed

But don't give up or expand too fast.

When I started creating content, I find it challenging to create daily, and I had to adjust to find my own way around it. That was when I started setting goals to post at least 3 days in a week no matter what. Even as simple as this goal sound, there are times when I will go for a whole week without posting any content.

But I kept coming back to it and up until now I am still at it and still trying to figure it out. Now that I am able to post every day I didn't let that bug me down because I know my 3 days in a week goal is still the path I'm on for now, and I don't have to imitate anyone when I already have found my own way to get things done.

Of course this might change moving forward, but right here and now, I won't want to expand too fast and burnout to eventually giving up on everything in the end. Most times what we need is to find our own way and groove around things before we try to imitate others. It might work in the short term but in the long run you can't sustain it if you don't find your own way and move at your own pace.
