Right here at this moment is all we have. No doubt about that. However, it’s also crucial to manage the risks and rewards of tomorrow while still living in the present moment.

I’ve been versed in a lot of things in life, and one of them is living in the moment. However, to some extent, I think this logic faults itself and also doesn’t to some extent.

Living today and not thinking or planning for tomorrow can come with dire consequences.

When we humans discuss our existence we like to think only about how to live and stay in the moment because smh we think tomorrow will take care of itself.

However, that doesn’t mean that tomorrow won’t take care of itself, but everything we do today is the thing that will determine the tomorrow we are going to live.

I remember when I was always in the groove of living my life based on the present moment alone without making plans for my future financially by building and investing the little I had.

If I could change a thing, it would be the mentality of living solely in the present without having backup plans for how we want tomorrow to be.

Everything can always be in our control, and every so often we are soon faced with challenges that we didn’t plan for.

One of them could be an emergency that we don’t have enough saved up for to be able to cater for.

This can open us up to either being in debt or emotional turmoil.
And all that would’ve been avoided if we had the funds.

Personally, I think it's not ideal to be in the groove of living in the moment alone.
We should also plan for other areas of our lives, not only financially but in every area like relationships and family.

Share your thoughts below—do you plan for tomorrow, or do you plan for tomorrow to take care of itself without your involvement?
