What to do when a foundation is too dark? Well, this is what happened to me recently and I want to share how I solved this problem without feeling like I’ve wasted the money spent on that foundation!
Follow these simple methods!
Use it as a Bronzer
Depending on the undertone of the foundation shade, you can either use it as a bronzer (if it’s warm-toned) or as a contour (if it’s cool-toned).
This will work with any foundation—liquid, cream, or powder.
If you use it as a bronzer, apply it on top of your cheekbones, forehead, and your jaw-neckline if required.
If you use it as contour, apply it underneath your cheekbones, forehead, and jawline/chin.
You can blend it into the skin with a brush or sponge.
This is an easy way for turning the wrong foundation shade into a valuable makeup product.
