Today we went to the sea which is close to where we live to swim and play and we just happened to be able to witness the construction of a wooden boat with the designer from this village too.
To become a shipbuilder is not an easy thing. In this case, it is necessary to have experienced, proficient craftsmen with expertise and skills that have been recognized by many people. Because in the manufacture of this ship, the craftsman must pay close attention to the quantity and quality of the wood to be used. If you dare to use wood of low quality, then the lives of the people on the ship are in a dangerous situation.
Not only wood, the carving method is also very careful so that there is no side of the wood that is too late, causing leaks when sailing.
Professional designers can produce extraordinary works. Therefore, it is not surprising if a professional designer can lead in several shipbuilding. Because people already believe and are satisfied with the results of his work.
They said the designers "Sophisticated ships are not enough, if the knowledge of shipping is not owned by every fisherman. Because science is superior to everything. Never be shy to ask questions because the experience does not only come from what we experience but also from what we hear."
Even though I am not a fisherman, I am also happy and happy to see how far the development of boat building has gone.
