Recently, the spammers and plagiarizers have really ramped up their behaviors. We are well aware and have just added our own algorithm for detecting plagiarism. We give it a 110% effort to NOT upvote these

Thanks @markgritter - this is helpful feedback. We plan on addressing everything you mentioned here. I think in the immediate term, the low payments to committed users thing is the most pressing issue.
