I find it interesting that the Detective Conan movies are so well received, I say this because usually anime movies that run parallel to the traditionally aired episodes are usually not that good, for example, I don't remember any Naruto movies that have been really good.

I've always heard good things about Detective Conan, it's notable that it has a fairly large and loyal fandom, I in particular don't know much about this anime.
