Dear Hivers of the Hive Open Mic community, it's been a while since Dina and I introduced ourselves together in these spaces, but the time has come to meet the place where we feel more comfortable and of course it will be sharing music. Maybe this song does not fit the theme proposed by @gemafreya1234, but what is certain is that it leaves us with the perception that there are songs that age very well and will always be remembered classics, especially for those who were born in the 80s and 90s.

I think it is not necessary to tell you who the Backstreet Boys are, because whether you are a fan of the pop genre or not, you surely know the influence they have on the type of music they perform. We in particular are more into Rock and Metal music, but for some reason we feel weakness for many songs of this band that we still listen to, maybe because it reminds us of beautiful days or simply because their music is very good; in fact, the famous rock singer Ozzy Osbourne recently confessed that he believes that this band has very good songs.

"Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" is one of the many hits that this band has and today we present it to you in acoustic format and as a duet. We tried to distribute as best as possible the verses of this song as far as singing is concerned, but of course and as usual, the spotlight is on Dina who patiently continues to support me with this facet of singing.

Something important to mention regarding the way we adapted this song, is that we had to find the formula to go from five spectacular singers who support each other with different choruses and tonalities of voices, to just the two of us with an acoustic guitar. We hope that this version is to everyone's liking, we made it with love and with the intention of continuing to learn. A big hug!

Queridos Hivers de la comunidad Hive Open Mic, ya pasó un tiempo desde que Dina y yo nos presentamos juntos en estos espacios, pero llegó el momento de encontrarnos con el lugar en el cual nos sentimos más cómodos y por supuesto será compartiendo música. Quizá esta canción no se ajuste a la temática propuesta por @gemafreya1234, pero lo que si es cierto es que nos deja la percepción de que hay canciones que envejecen muy bien y que por siempre serán clásicos recordados, sobre todo para quienes nacimos en los años 80 y 90.

Creo que no es necesario decirles quienes son los Backstreet Boys, ya que seas o no fan del género pop, de seguro sabes la influencia que tienen en el tipo de música realizan. Nosotros en lo particular somos mas de escuchar música Rock y Metal, pero por algún motivo sentimos debilidad por muchas canciones de esta banda que hasta hora seguimos escuchando, quizá sea porque nos recuerda lindo días o sencillamente porque su música es muy buena; de hecho, el famoso cantante de rock Ozzy Osbourne hace poco confesó que cree que esta banda tiene muy buenas canciones.

"Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" es uno de los tantos exitazos que tiene esta banda y el día de hoy se las presentamos en formato acústico y a dúo. Tratamos de distribuir lo mejor posible las estrofas de esta canción en cuanto al canto se refiere, pero por supuesto y como de costumbre, los reflectores apuntan a Dina quien con mucha paciencia sigue apoyándome con esta faceta de cantar.

Algo importante que mencionar respecto a la manera que adaptamos esta canción, es que tuvimos que encontrar la formula para pasar de cinco cantantes espectaculares quienes se apoyan con diferentes coros y tonalidades de voces, a solo nosotros dos con una guitarra acústica. Esperamos entonces que esta versión sea del agrado de todos, la hicimos con mucho cariño y con la intención de seguir aprendiendo. ¡Un fuerte abrazo!
