This week challenge, I'll be showing my performance based on how many chest reward I'm getting. I ensure that every end of season my league is at diamond. This will gauge the effect of my investment in collecting cards for the game. Splinterland is a play to earn games, meaning we are not only here to enjoy the game but to earn for our self for the time and investment we put into it. For my performance, let's see my last 8 season output for comparison (season 95-102).

Season 95 & 96, shows that gold chest has the most compared to diamond chest. Season 95 has also silver chest. This happens since even if you end on diamond III (rating of 2800-3099) for a season, you will start at gold III (rating of 1900) for the new season. This means that the cards that I own is not yet appropriate for the diamond league which requires max level for both summoner and monsters. As I continue collecting cards, the performance has shifted to getting more diamond chest as observed for season 101 and 102.
I did not rent card for this past 8 season to have better comparison and to really see the progress. The value of season reward depends on how lucky you are and the condition of market. This makes splinterland enjoyable, opening chest is very fun!. Deciding to invest in splinterland means that I have understood the risk associated to it.
Value of your asset and what we earn from the games depends on the market of cryptocurrency and a good monitoring would be the chart of Bitcoin. Being well inform with the news about the economy is also an edge.
From the chart, we really don't know if the lower channel is the real bottom. Could it reach the middle or upper channel or are we going to the moon? No one knows but what is important is risk management. Investing only money that you can afford to loss and having a target price to sell is very important. As we collect asset and play splinterland we are rewarded with token and nft's.
My only point is that investing time, effort and money will improve your performance in the game. Lastly we are a play-to-earn, we should not forget the EARN, take some profit. As for me, I have my plan where to sell some of my accumulated assets of the game.
