Hello. Today we are visiting a special exhibition in a very large and influential art gallery. We are in Istanbul for the 18th edition of Contemporary Istanbul.
Contemporary Istanbul's 18th edition exhibition is on display between 28 September and 1 October in a wonderful space inside a historical shipyard from the Ottoman period on the shores of Istanbul's Golden Horn. According to the statements on the official website; The fair includes 75 galleries and initiatives from 22 countries. A strong range of galleries from Europe and the Middle East are joined by leading galleries from South America, Africa, East Asia and the USA.
The number of participating works is as high as the number of participants. Different and original works of many artists from around the world draw you in. Here, it offers you the chance to visit dozens of different art galleries at the same time. Works from many different branches of art are presented in different visuals. The different presentation styles of different galleries increase the beauty and interest of the works.
There are works of art in many different techniques and especially paintings, sculptures and contemporary art. Some of them seem very familiar to you, some are a little sad, some are enthusiastic. Some of the contemporary works are very funny and meaningful. Snow White's mirror adaptation was especially beautiful. "Mirror mirror, tell me, how many times can the same frog be kissed?" written on the mirror. was writing.
It is really nice to see many works of art that are as beautiful and special as the venue itself in this large and beautiful exhibition area. Istanbul is a city of art and this gallery is a beautiful proof of this. The gallery is really in harmony with the city and its texture.
There were so many beautiful works in the exhibition that I could not take photos of most of them. But I still took so many photos, it was really hard to choose them. I hope you like the works we chose. These works and many more are in the exhibition area of the 18th edition of Contemporary Istanbul.

Merhaba. Bugün çok büyük ve iz bırakan bir sanat galarisinde özel bir sergiyi geziyoruz. Contemporary İstanbul'un 18. edisyonu için İstanbuldayız.
Contemporary İstanbul'un 18. edisyonu sergisi 28 Eylül - 1 Ekim tarihleri arasında, İstanbul'un Haliç kıyısında Osmanlı döneminden kalma tarihî bir tersanenin içerisinde harika bir alanda sergileniyor. Resmi sitediki aciklamalara göre; fuarda 22 ülkeden 75 galeri ve girişim yer alıyor. Avrupa ve Orta Doğu'dan güçlü bir galeri yelpazesine Güney Amerika, Afrika, Doğu Asya ve ABD'den önde gelen galeriler de katılıyor.
Katılımcı sayısı kadar katılan eserlerin sayısı da çok fazla. Dünya genelinde bir çok sanatçıya ait farklı ve özgün eserler sizi içine çekiyor. Burada onlarca farklı sanat galerisini aynı anda gezme şansını size sunuyor. Birçok farklı sanat dalina ait eserler farklı bir görsellikte sunuluyor. Farklı galerilerin farklı sunum tarzları eserlerin güzelliğini ve ilgisini de arttırıyor.
Birçok farklı teknikte ve özellikle resim, heykel ve çağdaş sanat eserleri var. Bazıları size çok tanıdık geliyor, bazıları biraz hüzünlü bazıları coşkulu. Çağdaş eserlerden bazıları ise çok komik ve anlamlı. Özellikle Pamuk Prensesin ayna uyarlası güzeldi. Aynanın üzerinde "ayna ayna söyle bana, kaç kere öpülür aynı kurbağa?" yaziyordu.
Bu geniş ve güzel sergi alanın da mekan kadar güzel ve özel bir çok sanat eserini görmek gerçekten çok güzel. Istanbul bir sanat şehri ve bu galeride bunun güzel bir ispatı olmuş. Galeri şehre ve şehrin dokusuna gerçekten çok uyumlu olmuş.
Sergide o kadar güzel eserler vardiki çoğunun fotoğraflarını çekemedim. Ama yinede çok fotoğraf çekmişim onları seçmek gerçekten zor oldu. Umarım seçtiğimiz eserleri beğenirsiniz. Bu eserler ve daha çok fazlası Contemporary İstanbul'un 18. edisyonu sergi alanında.
