My post was only meant to clarify how the system currently works at the protocol level, specifically separating DHF funding from reward pool mechanics and identifying where hbd_print_rate applies.

When I mentioned a “solid foundation”, I simply meant having a shared factual understanding of the current behavior of the protocol, before drawing conclusions about policy or changes.

It was not meant to imply that discussion or action is restricted in any way.

People are free to propose or implement whatever direction they think is best for Hive.

My goal was only to ensure the discussion starts from accurate assumptions about how the system functions today.
