Quite an eye opener. I haven't even really dug deep into this subject despite having hypnic jerks on the daily. Along with some once ina blue moon sleep paralysis since early childhood. I have quit smoking all together and caffeine is something I rarely take also. I have also drastically reduced marijuana intake via smoking. I don't know if that has any effect to it.
I don't do exercises before bed but I'm the mornings here and there. Not daily I mean. Coffee I take after the 90min time window after waking up. These hypnic jerks can be stressful sometimes disrupting my sleep schedule because I'm a light sleeper.
Interesting article. Thanks for the share. Gave me something to really ponder on.
