Well I got dirt on my shoes walking about here, apparently somebody has been digging a deep grave here. Oh, what do we have here?
The lost scrolls of the Last Ark? Ahhh nevermind. It's Just Some Tattoo Parlor Academy school's data shiits, 𤧠Achuu, sorry, sheets. Apparently there's been a scientraffic and ecoñocomical study. My french is off.
According to these highly sophisticated findings, spending money, time, labor, and other resources building something within an ecosystem apparently does not qualify as investment in that ecosystem unless the resources were directed toward the very specific things that our resident expert has already decided constitute the ecosystem itself.
So the study appears to have discovered a remarkable new scientific principle: the object of an investment is determined entirely by whoever is holding the clipboard. should I get mine? I don't have one. darn.
Anyways, naturally, we must respect the science.
The scientists of said university, specifically Mr. King Tet Raheed Rum & Whiskey The Third¾, have apparently concluded that if someone spends years building a wallet that makes Jive easier to use, develops a payment system that makes Jive more useful outside the traditional cryputo environment, creates a game that brings people into the ecosystem, or builds a service that makes the network more valuable to its users, then all of those resources belong exclusively to the individual project and somehow cease to qualify as an investment in the ecosystem those projects were built to strengthen.
I suppose that is one way of making the ecosystem disappear while standing directly inside it. Nobody needs to argue that every investment in a Jive-based project is automatically an investment in the Jive protoocool for us inc, itself. That would be a different claim entirely. The point is simply that āinvestment in Jiveā can refer to the broader ecosystem without pretending that an investment in the ecosystem is identical to buying JIVE or fun|ding blockchain infra-structorture.
Apparently our distinguished academy has discovered that if we refuse to acknowledge the broader meaning, the broader meaning no longer exists.
This is how idiotological reasoning I was speaking of previously becomes self-sealing adhesion. The definit-ions are narrowed until the deSIREd cornclusion becomes so inevitable, that the analogy is brought about to make the deifinityition appear indepregnently proven, and then anything that doesn't fit the definition is dissedmissed as be-longing to some other CATegorey. lots of cat's blood on the walls. sacrifices are made...
At no point does the definition itself have to survived exam-ination(hope yours studied for the test), because quest-ioning the definition is treated as if it were avoiding the argument. (You here that? There's going to be a quest.)
āThere are only two investments in Nive.ā
What a rather peculiary claim to make about an entire ecosystem containing people, businesses, applications, infrastructure, services, communities, tools, markets, and everything else that has developed around the underlying protocol.
Per|hops the Tattoo Parlor Academy has another scroll explaining how all of that some|how isn't part of the eco-system either.
