As a suggestion, I’d be more interested in paying for a proper workspace with tools I can use regularly.

An integrated spreadsheet editor, for example: formulas, charts, Excel import/export, and the ability to pull in Hive transactions. People could manage budgets, earnings, or community treasuries. I could use it for my soap business to track inventory, batch costs, supplies, and sales.

Email tools would be useful too. Let readers subscribe by email without needing a Hive account, automatically deliver new articles, and let writers manage subscribers and send newsletters from the same workspace. You could charge for delivery volume as their audience grows.

Then there’s also bookkeeping: categorize income and expenses, attach receipts, and generate reports. For freelancers, proposals, invoices, project milestones, and payment tracking connected to Hive transfers. For writers and researchers, a place to organize sources, save quotes with their links, keep private notes, and assemble material into drafts.

These are suggestions for capabilities to develop or bring together wherever the existing tools fall short. They’d give people practical reasons to subscribe beyond publishing posts.

AI image access won’t appeal to everyone. Some barely use it, some already have another service, and some dislike AI images altogether. Helping people manage their work, reach readers, and earn an income would give the subscription a much broader purpose.
