I have a few questions about how the numbers work.
You say 90% of curation earnings goes to stakers, while delegators receive 100% of curation rewards paid in ELIXIR. Are those calculated from separate pools of HP? Could you show a worked example covering both payouts for the same week?
The delegation formula also needs clarification. At 1 HIVE per ELIXIR, paying 100 HIVE worth of rewards at half market price would mean 200 ELIXIR. Your example gives 50. Which calculation does the payout script actually use?
You also mention initial funds covering dividends, followed by a power-down when those funds run low. Which funds are being powered down? Will distributions distinguish actual curation earnings from subsidies and withdrawals of capital?
If all the sale tranches sell out, that raises 250,000 HIVE. Could you show the projected weekly curation income, expenses, and dividend per staked token at that point, including the effect of the 100,000 tokens reserved for delegation rewards entering circulation?
And what happens once those delegation reward tokens run out? Do delegators start receiving HIVE, do rewards stop, or is there another arrangement?
Finally, does holding ELIXIR give anyone a redeemable claim on the accumulated HP, or does exiting depend entirely on finding another buyer? What supports demand after the sales finish, and what happens if delegators withdraw?
A worked example and the relevant account names would make this much easier to assess. I want to see whether the earnings support the payouts once new token purchases stop.
Please answer each question directly, with the relevant numbers where requested. If something hasn’t been decided yet, say so. Please don’t substitute answers to questions I haven’t asked.
