Looking Again at the Everyday./Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Looking again when I think I’ve seen enough is something I do all the time; it’s amazing how it helps spark creativity, and what better place than my backyard, where I inevitably pass by several times a day.

Volver a mirar cuando pienso que he visto demasiado es un ejercicio que suelo hacer a cada rato; es increíble cómo ayuda a ejercitar la creatividad, y qué mejor lugar que el patio de mi casa, donde tengo que necesariamente pasar varias veces al día.

Then I realize that details escape me, that the light always falls differently, highlighting seemingly insignificant elements that come to life in those rays of sunlight.

Entonces me percato de que se me escapan detalles, que la luz siempre incide de forma diferente, resaltando elementos aparentemente insignificantes, pero que cobran vida con esos rayos de sol.

I do this to cultivate and hone my photographic vision—something I really need when I’m out on the street.

Lo hago para cultivar y ejercitar mi visión fotográfica, algo que necesito mucho estando en la calle.

I’d even say it’s for artistic purposes, because when I look closely, I see a touch of minimalism in them.

Hasta con un propósito artístico pudiera decir, porque mirando bien, algo de minimalismo veo en ellas.

And along this path, I’m learning—and more than that, enjoying every moment, every detail.

Y por este camino voy aprendiendo, y más que eso, disfrutando cada momento, cada detalle.
