Zwar musste ich auf meinen Reisen immer wieder feststellen, das die portugiesischen Str盲nde sich nicht vor der weltweiten Konkurrenz verstecken m眉ssen, geh枚ren sie doch mit zum Sch枚nsten was ich bisher sehen durfte, entschied mich dann aber zum BeachWednesday erst einmal Thail盲ndische Str盲nde zu pr盲sentieren.

Eine Veranstaltung die mir sehr entgegen kommt, da kann ich als Strand Fetischist mitreden.
Although I had to realize on my travels again and again that the Portuguese beaches do not have to hide from the worldwide competition, they are among the most beautiful I have seen so far, I decided to present a Thai beach for the BeachWednesday.

An event that suits me just fine, as a beach fetishist I can relate.
Zwar ist es so, das es f眉r mich nichts Schlimmeres gibt als stundenlang an einem Strand im Sand zu liegen und nichts zu tun, aber das muss ja auch nicht sein, wenn man im Vorfeld darauf achtet das es erstens eine Strandbar in der N盲he gibt und zweitens, das man immer eine Angel dabei hat. 馃槑 馃帲
For me, there is nothing worse than lying in the sand on a beach for hours and doing nothing, but that doesn't have to be the case if you make sure in advance that there is a beach bar nearby and that you always have a fishing rod with you.
Am Monkey Beach auf der Insel Koh Phayam, war ich dann auch f盲ngig.
Leider war es wohl kein angesagter Speisefisch der mir da an den Haken ging, wie mich ein Einheimischer aufkl盲rte und so lie脽 ich ihn wieder frei.
At Monkey Beach on the island of Koh Phayam, I was then also catch a fish.

Die Idee sp盲ter in der Hippie Bar, welche man in der Buffalo Bay, einen der bekanntesten Str盲nde der Insel findet, frischen Fisch zu essen, verwarfen wir wieder.
Zum einen konnte ich nichts dergleichen auf der Speisekarte finden und zum anderen schreckte mich die etwas abenteuerliche, wenn auch faszinierende Konstruktion dieser au脽ergew枚hnlichen Kneipe ab, daher belie脽en wir es nur bei einem Bier.
The idea later in the hippie bar, which one finds in the Buffalo Bay, one of the most well-known beaches of the island, to eat fresh fish, we discarded again.
For one thing, I couldn't find anything like that on the menu, and for another, I was put off by the somewhat adventurous, but fascinating, construction of this unusual bar, so we only had a beer.
Der Tag neigte sich langsam dem Ende entgegen und wie jeden Abend trafen wir uns noch mit Freunden am Long Beach, dem wie der Name schon sagt l盲ngsten Strand auf Koh Phayam und bestaunten bei weiteren Bieren den Sonnenuntergang, welcher sich auf dieser Seite der Insel von seiner sch枚nsten Seite zeigte.
The day was slowly coming to an end and as every evening we met with friends at Long Beach, the longest beach on Koh Phayam as the name suggests, and marveled at the sunset with more beers, which showed itself from its most beautiful side on this side of the island.
Das war mein erster Gehversuch auf der Promenade des #BeachWednesday und sicher nicht der letzte.
