One half of my family lives in central Florida (other half is here. I'm a dual citizen) and I've found it interesting to see how both sides of the pond have dealt with this. I grew up in Florida and have seen how folks loose their mind over hurricane warnings. My old mans side of the family are long time Floridians (came to the state in the 1800's) and they have always prepped as a general rule, and I do the same no matter where I have lived. So I wasn't shy of TP or any supplies when the whole shabang started.

One of the things I'e been saying to my family here in the UK is to seize the gap between here and September and stock up just in case. My guess is we will have talks of normalcy through August and then in the window between September and November end up with another gong show. In areas it's already touted to still be bad I think it will be worse. That's just from where I'm sitting in the UK regarding the UK. Dunno for back in the states though. Add to all this we still have an economic sh** show inbound and it's looking like it's gonna be a wild ride.

Great post sir and definitely enjoyed the read. :)
