[Esp-Eng] Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge: Day 6

A lo largo de la historia, se han desarrollado millones de videojuegos, y evidentemente es imposible creer que cada uno de ellos tiene buenos personajes, historias increíbles, desarrollo de escenarios, y cualquier otro factor que se tome en cuenta para declarar a un juego como genial y entretenido. Cómo todo en la vida hay cosas buenas, cosas malas y cosas terribles, lo mismo sucede en los videojuegos. Por lo tanto, continuando con el sexto día del Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge, les presentaré los tres videojuegos, que desde mi perspectiva, son los peores que he jugado.

Throughout history, millions of video games have been developed. Evidently, it is impossible to believe that every single one has good characters, incredible stories, scenario development, and any other factor is taken into account to declare a game as excellent and entertaining. Like everything in life, there are good things, bad things, and terrible things. The same thing happens in video games. Therefore, continuing with the sixth day of the Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge, I will present the three video games that, from my perspective, are the worst I have ever played.

Spider-Man and theX-Men: Arcade’s Revenge

Este juego venía junto con otros cuando me regalaron la SNES. Recuerdo que me causaba mucha emoción porque veía a Spider-Man en la portada de la cassette. Lamentablemente, a pesar de que me gustaba el personaje, pues el juego no era realmente entretenido. Contaba con niveles muy planos los cuales eran muy repetitivos, solo cambiaba el fondo y definitivamente no había nada de lógica en como estaban acomodadas las plataformas.

This game came along with others when I got the SNES. I remember I was very excited because I saw Spider-Man on the cover of the cassette. Unfortunately, even though I liked the character, the game was not really entertaining. It had very repetitive and very flat levels, only the background changed, and there was definitely no logic in how the platforms were arranged.

Al inicio, se usa a Spider-Man el cual tiene su sentido arácnido, que se activa cuando hay una bomba cerca (creo que son bombas), el detalle es que tienes que agarrarlas todas y además en un cierto orden. Definitivamente el sentido arácnido no sirve para nada, aparte suena terrible cuando se activa. Eso sí, encontramos muchos enemigos para destruir, pero no representan dificultad alguna.

In the beginning, you use Spider-Man, and he has his spider-sense, which is activated when there is a bomb nearby (I think they are bombs). The detail is that you have to grab them all and also in a specific order. Definitely, the spider-sense is useless. Besides, it sounds terrible when activated. There are a lot of enemies to destroy, but they don't represent any difficulty.

Después de esto, podemos de elegir a alguno de los X-Men, como a Wolverine, Cíclope, Gambito y Tormenta. Cada uno de ellos tiene sus habilidades, pero caemos a lo mismo del primer nivel. Muy aburrido, sencillo y repetitivo. Definitivamente, este juego cuenta con un gran nombre, pero terrible jugabilidad.

After this, we can choose any of the X-Men, such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Gambit, and Storm. Each of them has their abilities, but we fall back to the same as the first level. Very dull, repetitive, and straightforward. Definitely, this game has a great name but terrible gameplay.

Brutal - Paws of fury

De los peores juegos que pueden existir en la historia, un tipo de Street Fighter pero con animales. En este juego podemos ser un conejo, un oso, un zorro y no recuerdo que otros animales, en donde básicamente se trata de pelear contra otros. Cada uno tiene sus "combos", y conforme avanzas tu personaje aprende más. Básicamente al inicio puedes tirar uno que otro golpe y dar brincos, es complicado entender el sistema de pelea.

One of the worst games that can exist in history is Street Fighter but with animals. In this game, we can be a rabbit, a bear, a fox, and I don't remember what other animals, where basically, it's about fighting against others. Each one has its "combos", and as you advance, your character learns more. Basically, in the beginning, you can throw one or another hit and jump. It's complicated to understand the fighting system.

La música es repetitiva, creo que solo son dos canciones para todo el juego :/. Los sonidos de los personajes son idénticos para la mayoría. Y tenemos la característica contraseña que hay que anotar para poder continuar en el nivel en donde nos quedemos, eso sí, algunos caracteres casi no se distinguen. En definitiva es un juego que no les recomendaría jugar, ni por curiosidad.

The music is repetitive; I think there are only two songs for the whole game :/. The sounds of the characters are identical for most of them. And we have the characteristic password that we have to write down to continue in the level where we stay. Yes, some characters are almost indistinguishable. In short, it is a game that I would not recommend you to play, not even out of curiosity.

Sensible Soccer - International Edition

Desde que tengo uso de razón, he sido amante del fútbol, por ello, tener este juego era una emoción muy grande. Tristemente nunca terminó por convencerme la modalidad del juego, se me hacían unos controles demasiados toscos y los monitos se mueven demasiado rápido, por lo que hacer algo con precisión es complicado. Además realmente batallaba para meter un gol, tal vez yo era malísimo para jugarlo.

I have been a soccer lover for as long as I can remember, so having this game was a great emotion. Sadly, I was never convinced by the game mode, the controls were too clumsy, and the little monkeys move too fast, so doing something with precision is complicated. Besides, I really struggled to score a goal. Maybe I just sucked at it.

La música del juego es agradable los primeros 15 minutos, después terminas harto de escuchar una y otra vez lo mismo. Eso sí, tiene cosas destacables, como cambiar el tiempo del partido, las condiciones climatológicas, la dificultad, entre otros. También tiene distintos modos para jugar, desde partido amistoso, copa, liga, clubes internacionales, y varios más. Pero a pesar de todo esto no pude adaptarme al juego y termino arrinconado en la casa junto con el Brutal y el de Spider-Man.

The game's music is pleasant for the first 15 minutes, but after that, you get tired of hearing the same thing over and over again. It does have some remarkable things, such as changing the match's time, the weather conditions, the difficulty, among others. It also has different modes to play, from a friendly match, cup, league, international clubs, and many more. But despite all this, I could not adapt the game and corner in the house and Brutal and Spider-Man.

Tal vez para algunos de ustedes, estos juegos fueron increíbles, al final, recuerden que cada persona tiene gustos diferentes y esto se hace sin el afán de ofender. Espero que les haya gustado la publicación, nos vemos en una próxima.

Maybe for some of you, these games were incredible. In the end, remember that everyone has different tastes, and this is done without the desire to offend. I hope you liked the publication, see you in the next one.
