Hello friends,
Good morning. How are you? I am fine.alt
Friends today I would like to share you an important memory in my life. It was 1971. I was a student of class nine. Our school was closed. Everyday there were meetings, procession, protest against Pakistani millitery government. They were making conspiracy not to handover the power to Bango Bondhu Shiek Munbur Rahman the president of Awami League and the leader of elected majority party in the perliament.
By name of meeting they were storing arms and deploying soldiers everywhere. They arrested Bango Bandhu and took him to West Pakistan. Bango Bandhu declared independence before being arrested. Then started our liberation war. Pakistani army started killing innocent people. As our school was closed I came back to my village home with my father. Our village was in a remote area. As there was no good communication with our village, there was no tension and fear of Pakistani army in our village.alt
Everyday I went to the river Joyontee with my friends to have bath. We dived, swam and jumped into the river. Hours passed but we did not care. It was Monday, we were going to the river as usual. As we came near the river we saw a crowd on the bank. We hurried there. People were standing deaf and dumped. In our great horror we saw six dead body were floating on the water who were tied together with a rope.
After that we did not have bath in the river before independence.alt
Okey friends. No more today. Stay safe in your house with your family.
