Two years ago David Gilmour had a great "Rattle That Lock" tour, with lots of gigs in most beautiful historical places and one of all those places was Pompeii in Italy... David's return to Pompeii was filmed by an artist Gavin Elder and played in the cinemas world wide.
It was really extraordinary concert, one could only wish to attend, but the tickets was around $600 which is a little bit expensive for me, so I had to pass it. As a David fan an art lover I made this digital mosaic as a tribute to this amazing historic moment. I'm not that satisfied, because I'm perfectionist, but currently I don't have a drawing tab so I drew this with a mouse, which is not such a good solution when you have to draw thousands of little squares.
