Thanks @sjarvie5! They really are the coolest little places. I had wanted to take the boat to the other villages and down to La Spezia, but it didn't work out on this trip. You really get a good feeling for the handmade quality of the cafes and apartments, one place built on top of the next in a kind of haphazard but friendly and inviting way. Those narrow walkways between the buildings just makes me want to explore them all, as it seems like a new surprise is around the next corner.
